Rosa's Italian Market & Deli in Post Falls opened not too long ago. Beside the fantastic food (highly recommended!), part of the charm is the atmosphere and banter between the shop keepers and customers. I'm trying to imagine how that banter might look while a patron is ordering a "sandwhich" for breakfast. Abbott and Costello come to mind.
At least you get a free cup of coffee to enjoy after deciding wich one you want...
Thanks again, Megan, for another find!!!!!!!!

I really don't know why I'm posting this. Let's face it, 99.9% of polls and quizzes on Facebook have atrocious spelling and grammar errors. I do like the irony of suggesting drug testing for welfare and food stamp recipients and not being able to spell or properly capitalize a sentence. Kind of makes me wonder if said poll creator isn't a welfare and/or food stamp recipient.

Leavenworth is a great little tourist town in Washington state. It's a fun place to spend a couple days wandering through the darling little shops, tasting wine and enjoying realy big cookis! You can't find cookis anywhere but Leavenworth. And to come across realy big ones? Now that's a score!
Thanks to daughter, Brittany, for finding this on her last trip to the national capital of Realy Big Cookis!!

While enjoying a stroll on Sherman Avenue in Downtown Coeur d'Alene last night, this sign caught my eye. The temperature was hovering just over 90 degrees. The flowers are blooming and lovely. The trees are green (or purple, if that's the way they swing.) It was a perfect summer evening. I first thought how odd it is that Brix

Please excuse the cut off letter :) I was driving up 4th Street and turning left onto Appleway when this sign caught my eye. I had to turn into the KFC, turn around, turn on my camera, turn back out onto Appleway, get in the left turn lane (which was red) and snap this pic before the light turned green and I had to move. WHEW! The things I'll do to capture a great Disaster!
Fiesta Mexicana is a Mexican restaurant owned by genuine Mexicans and they have pretty good food. I suppose one could argue this doesn't qualify as a Spelling Disaster, but rather a Language Disaster. I would rather think they are letting us ladies know that they keep the seats down in the restrooms. How very courteous and gracious of them!

WOW!! Three great Spelling Disasters on one page of the North Idaho Business Journal, a little publication by the publishers of The Coeur d'Alene Press. I'm not sure where to start so I'll start with the Superinttendent of Schools in Post Falls, Idaho. Jerry Keane is a very nice man. I've had the honor of chatting with him at a couple events. I'd be more apt to call him a Superintendent. Seems more fitting for the man.
Ken Smith, Preseident of Dave Smith Motors, I have not had the opportunity to meet. I'm not sure if he's a Preseident or President kind of guy. I do have to wonder if the soul who did the layout didn't send us a cryptic message with "Save Smith". What do we need to save? The auto body shop? Smelterville? WHAT???? Come on CdA Press, give us more clues!!
I'm sure they will be forthcoming....
Another HUGE Thank You to Megan!!! You, girl, are a spelling disaster catching Queen! (That's SDCQ)

The Super 1 Foods in Post Falls is all ready for summer fun with a display of sandles or El Sandles as they're not known across the southern border. Of course, "sandles" piqued my curiosity so I did a Google search and found the usual suspects in the top 20 spots... eBay, Yahoo Answers and people's names. Which raises the question of WHY DON'T PEOPLE USE SPELL CHECK??? Okay, off my soap box and saying...
Thanks to Joe for a great find!!!
