How Many Wieners is That?

Hmmmmm.... prices have been whited out and changed on the menu at Paul's Country Deli & Wine Grotto in Hayden, yet this word that appears to be a Spelling Disaster is intact. A little research appears to be in order.

According to Dictionary.com:
No results found for doubld:
Did you mean doubled (in dictionary) or Doublet (in reference)?

Okay.... next source.... Google. The Google Gods showed me some user names and misspellings in want ads but they didn't direct me to any Doubld. I'm was afraid to search specifically for "Doubld Wiener" but I did and am happy to report that no porn popped up! Neither did anything useful.

Conclusion: SPELLING DISASTER!

I need to add that Paul's is a darling deli with great pricing, friendly owners and a nice selection of wine, beer and specialty grocery items. I highly recommend a visit if you haven't been there. They are located on the corner of 4th Street and Prairie Ave. in Hayden.

bbbbut I can spell kabbbbbobbb

Taken at Super 1 Foods in Coeur d'Alene today... for your skewering pleasure. The jury was out on whether or not this is a spelling disaster until I did a Google search for "kabbob". A bunch of sites came up - Yahoo Answers, some kabob joint in Berkley, MySpace page for user "Kabbob" and a ton of sites in arab or chinese or one of those other types of written languages. So, since this sign was proudly placed in the meat department of an Idaho grocery store, I'm saying "SPELLING DISASTER" confirmed!

Thanks Brian for being Mr. Observant today!! xoxoxoxoxo

Ass... iss...

Found last year at St. Vincent de Paul thrift store in lovely Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. That was the day I bought my solid oak HUGE desk and return there for the unbelievable bargain price of $40!! We really did need "assisstance" to load those babies in the back of my mini van in the pouring rain. We could have used their "assisstance" to help us unload it at the office!
